Unlike the usual cruises through the canals, The Pancake Boat (De Pannenkoekenboot) navigates - as first canal boat in Amsterdam - through the IJ and the port area. You can book various trips. Popular is the 75 Minutes Vaart (trip) with unlimited traditional Dutch bacon-, apple- and natural pancakes. Children can decorate their pancakes with chocolate sprinkles for example. The starting location of the Pancake Boat Amsterdam is in Amsterdam North. The boat is sitiated next to the local ferry. From Central Station you can cross with the free ferry to the shipyard. You also can take the bus; line 91 and 94 from Oosterdokskade (behind Central Station). Get off at the stop Klaprozenweg.
